As life's odd twists and turns would have it, I have finally gone out on my own and started my own law firm. Hopefully this will yield a better life, better income, and less annoying headaches, as now I am master of my own fate. It is located a mere 2.5 blocks from my house so there is much less of a commute. Also as life's odd twists and turns would have it, my hanging out my own shingle seems to have led to me meeting the town muckity mucks and will result in my swearing in as the acting Village Court Justice (sort of the second string Justice who fills in when the main one cannot be present). Not much pay, but I get to put "Honorable" on Christmas cards. WEeeeeiiird.....

The village idiot pays much more, as he is on welfare. I've got the important parts of the office set up already: desk, two wing back chairs next to a table beneath a large portrait of Churchill, humidor, and fridge set at 48 degrees F with a bottle of Remy MArtin in it. I didn't realize that little fridge still HAD a bottle of Remy Martin cognac in it and was pleasantly surprised when I put it there and heard it rattling around inside.

I have a crappy video. How would I do that? Also, regarding the acting justice position: the real justice resigned as of 2:30 pm yesterday, I got sworn in as the real Village Justice at 5:00pm yesterday. There's supposed to be some news blurb about it printed up soon and I will post links so you can all point and laugh. Now I make more than the village idiot, but not by much...lol.
