I have an ingrown toenail :(
Quite painful I'm afraid. Have to get it sliced open this week. Blech!
Speaking of physical ailments...Stef, how's the elbow mate?

Well, the elbow proceeds to heal at its ever so slow rate. Having said that, the most recent x-rays I can finally see how badly damaged it is, so I'm actually starting to feel somewhat blessed that it's healing at all. I'm glad I couldn't see how bad it was when I first saw the original x-rays or I would have been a LOT more worried.
The consultant says we are done and I don't have to see him again, it's just a matter of patience now.
Also physiotherapy. On my ankle, so that the instability in it, which hurled me to the ground in the first place is corrected and I don't have to smash the other elbow (or worse) in any kind of repeat performance.
Ingrowing toenails suck :(

Why are your ankles so unstable? Old injuries? Bad luck?
And yes, ingrown toenails DO suck.

I did very badly sprain my ankle ages ago and to be honest, it's let me down on many occasions and I should probably have sorted it out sooner... better late than never, I guess.
I *think* it's only the left ankle, at least that's the one I don't trust.
