Chris Cornell - You Know My Name (Casino Royale)
If you take a life do you know what you'll give?
Odds are, you won't like what it is
When the storm arrives, would you be seen with me?
By the merciless eyes of deceit?
I've seen angels fall from blinding heights
But you yourself are nothing so divine
Just next in line
Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name
If you come inside things will not be the same
When you return to the night
And if you think you've won
You never saw me change
The game that we all been playing
I've seen diamonds cut through harder men
Than you yourself
But if you must pretend
You may meet your end
Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins
Try to hide your hand
Forget how to feel
Forget how to feel
Life is gone with just a spin of the wheel
Spin of the wheel
Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name
You know my name
You know my name
You know my name
You know my name
You know my name
You know my name

A mate of mine saw it. Huge fan of Bond. He raved about Craig, says hes better than Brosnan (I'll be impressed if thats true), much tougher than the others. Not as good film wise as Goldeneye but Goldeneye imho was superb stuff, but he should shape up to be one of the top 3 Bonds.

I've heard a couple of reviewers say he's the best since Connery. I'd reserve my opinion until I see it, but I have to admit, when I saw his suave character portrayal in Layer Cake he instantly struck me as quite Bondian.
I don't mind the blonde hair so much, I mean everyone sucks Connerey's member about him being the TRUE BOND, but Ian Flemming didn't even initially approve because he was too rough looking. So who cares about literary canon if the template for all Bonds didn't even fit it himself??

I can't wait till Matt Damon or Ben Affleck do Bond. That'd be sheer poetry in motion.
Matt..... Damon...

An AMERICAN doing Bond? I love my country and defend it to the death...but even I would join in the collective gasp of horror.
It would be like having an Englishman play Indiana Jones.

Craig made an excellent Bond; far less suave-super-spy, and far more hard-a**-soldier/lowlife turned spy. More muscle than finesse, more sadism that savoire faire - but it all worked. I loved the movie, even if there were a couple of scenes I did not like and as always, I loathe the general misogyny that permeates the Bond series. Still ... I think it was a good movie (best since Golden Eye..and in contention for best Bond ever) and a very good new man to play Bond - oh, and have I mentioned his pecs? For the love of god that boy is built. Pierce Brosnan was the prettiest and smoothest of all the Bonds; he's the one you want to get romanced by I suppose, but Daniel Craig is the one you want to sneak up behind you, grab you, push you up against the wall while....
whew...
...I think maybe I should go see that movie again, just to be sure I liked it... ;)

Saw it over Thanksgiving break...friggin' fantastic!
The end dragged a bit, kept thinking it was over. Seemed a little silly to have a never ending line of villains.
But overall, it was fantastic!!! Absolutely loved it! Craig is truly brillaint and as Khem said brings a fantastic element of grittiness to the role. And that last shot is a killer...

What can I say? Wow! Craig is a fantastic Bond. Second only to Connery imo. Superb return to form!

I'm telling you man...that final shot where he's standing there in the three piece suit with the big machine gun?? That was awesomeness...

That and the famous line "Bond, James Bond." Delivered perfectly. It had everything I wanted from it and more!

Figured you'd like it. I liked the added bit about his ego being too big for his own good. Thought that was cool.

Liked the bit with him annoying M with his arrogance and his "body count" too. Wasn't anything about it I didn't like
