The argument (at least for me) was not that human beings do not necessarily have rational thought, but rather that good and evil are purely human constructs and as such have no REAL substance. We only consider murder evil because we've socially defined what evil is.

My point was that humans are responsible for commiting "evil" upon the world.

[quote="Porter"] We, however, do it for every reason but. Greed, hate, lust, insanity..etc etc. These are "evils".

Now I was in partiularly offended that a fellow "NO REL PREF" (as my dog tags say), such as yourself Frank, would declare Lust, of all things, Evil.

Now if youd have said the herpes i got last week from that dirty whore was evil, i reckon id understand that. Herpes is probably the root of all evil and not humanity. Because herpes was created by these damn dirty dogs that i shoot everyday. Yup, true story i just made up.

I understand what jimbo is saying about good and evil being mere concepts. Human concepts rather. I am with the belief that if we can understand these concepts then they do exist. BTW dahmer was found guilty and thought to have understood these concepts as well. Through the legal definiftion of insanity since he tried to cover his evils up.

Meanwhile if there is a god, he sure hasnt been sending praises to ol lassie down here. But then again i reckon we cant complain since

All dogs go to heaven right?
