Hey! What's everyones favorite albums? We're not talking passing fancies. The ALL time albums that you couldn't do without.
Off the top of my head I would say:
Aenima - Tool
Abbey Road - The Beatles

Trent Reznor is undoubtedly talented...although I find him a bit angst-ridden for my tastes. But he's excellent for me in small doses.
The new album is brilliant! Er...a song at a time, I mean.

it would be hard for me NOT to name U2 albums in heavy quantities, but I DO have to get a few out of the way if I want to get anywhere with the list so, here we go:
U2 - The Joshua Tree (3rd Best Album in History according to Rolling Stone)
U2 - Achtung Baby!
U2 - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb (won its place fair and square in much less than the year its been out)
Queen - Greatest Hits Vol 1.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd - Division Bell
Ok, i feel like i left out 5000 or more, but we'll leave it at that. If we were to name songs though... I'd be here for days.
