I'm here!!! Had a fab time in Rhodes!! only went for a week but could have done with two. Booked the place across the road for Ami, Boo and me next april.Didnt dare do it any sooner/later cos we are in brazil in jan and Bulgary in june xxxxxxxx

Did you know the Colossus of Rhodes didn't even stand as tall as the Statue of Liberty? Still..did you see the feet?

To be honest James I was a complete beach/pool layabout for a week so we didn't get to do the tourist bit. The only day out we had was to the water park which is the biggest in Europe, It was really good but even there I just chilled out by the wave lagoon all day. Last time we went we went to the acropolis at Lindos, now that is amazing :)
yes flying does build up my carbon footprint but I don't drive, only use pedal power, we recycle everything, when Josh stays I only use cloth nappies ....so I can let myself have the luxury of a flight, knowing that I am trying to do my bit :)

Oh I don't know. A good lay out and pure relaxation can be well worth the time. Every vacation where I cram activities into usually wears me out.

We walked every morning along the beach, we swam, snorkelled, ok I watched them snorkelling lolol we played water polo, boy that hurt at times! I was even a source of amusement to the rest of the gang as i went to have a walk along a lovely beach just round the corner that they most kindly told me about....it was very nice, I was that busy looking for shells and stones along the waters edge I neglected to notice it was a damn nudist beach until I was in the midst of it so to speak!! I didn't know where to look :P

So I didn't really do *nothing* It was just a lazy holiday :)
