She moved on with her sister, now much further from Cascadia. She had bought a car, a dark purple PT Cruiser.... new. She hated that car, but it was the style she wanted to portray... soccer momish and not something that would stand out.

She drove slowly, plotting a course to New Orleans. She tried to not look back, as she drove she had the urge to go back to Cascadia, but she didn't, she was hurting inside and couldn't let anyone see that.

Only her sister... her sister knew everything about her, and that was just fine with her.

She stopped in a small town near to Memphis, Tennesse. She would stay there for a few days. Her supply of blood bags was getting low. She knew she could find a blood bank to get more at.

She sighed, checking into the very plain motel, she now wore a dirty t-shirt and grimy jeans, hair pulled back into a loose pony tail. "How did I come to this?" She thought as she looked down at herself.

She and her sister got checked in and took two rooms with windows facing west. They would rest in peace for a while now. Then they would head out to New Orleans in a few weeks.

Yes... she had decided... that was where she would make their new home... unless the other kindred there were dissagreeing with that. She hoped they wouldn't be... she had a few contacts down there... maybe she would even go in search of Garrette.

That day as she slept, she dreamed of Garrette. Garrette was the only thing on her mind. She tossed and turned, wondering where he was.
