When I did the recent upgrade, I also upgraded the google captcha stuff. This was a minor pain in the arse as this version of PHPBB doesn't support the current google captcha system, but anyway, I did the thing.

Still, it let three spambots through and therefore clearly doesn't work.

I really don't want to have to moderate all potential new users as they are almost certainly going to be spambots, it's unlikely anyone else wants to join, but whatever I don't want to lock the doors.

So, I've created questions. In order to register, you have to correctly answer a question about Vampire, either or questions that can easily be answered in a registration form.

e.g.
Are giraffes tall or short? (Answer: tall, except it's a vampire related question).

I could do with a few more ideas. If you have any please PM them to me (don't put them here where anyone can read them!). Hopefully that will mean only actual people interested in Vampire pop up as new users.
