I'm engaged! :) After many years I've finally proposed to my long time girlfriend (the sometimes infamous) Affie. To those who heard the horror stories from back in the day, we've reunited (some 3 years ago?) and have been in a healthy, stable, and absolutely fulfilling relationship ever since. Life is good and we're quite happy about the future. |

congrats. on the engagement. We were talking at the bar the other night about married guys. all of us agree that we got stupid when we put on the wedding bands. None of us are allowed to go to the grocery store anymore *although we all did it before we were married* None of us is allowed to wash any clothes but our own, and don't even thing about folding the towels guys just don't know how to do it properly. It doesn't matter how long you spend picking up the house it isn't clean untill youve been told how messy it is and she picks up after you. pretty much all of the inside chores are no longer yours. you may have done them before you got hitched and for a while after, but the longer your married the less you will be allowed to do in the house. Your jobs will be to cut the grass, paint stuff, wash the cars, and cook on the grill. * my mower is still broken and the kid who mowed for me is in Football so he doen't have time to come over any more* |
