Seems pretty cool. Thought it might make a nice graduation gift to myself. Basically they teach you leadership skills in nature. You go to some remote area in groups and it seems like it's more or less you have professionals that basically watch you and point you in the right direction, but solving issues is more or less up to you.
They teach you survival skills and stuff. When I was a kid I was never in boyscouts and regretted it. I go camping now and my outdoor skills are so rudimentary. Meanwhile my friend was an Eagle Scout (the highest rank) and he gets in nature everythings just simple to him. What? Fire? Cooking? Catching fish? Making a lean-to? Navigating woods? No problem!
Seemed neat to me anyway. Bats we could do the Australia one! It's on the other side of the country, but whatev!
