The Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang As someone who's not been a big fan of Mick and the boys in the past (aside from their late 60's, early 70's stuff) I held off on picking up their latest CD. The wrinkley rockers still got it though. Pick it up! |

Really? I'm always surprised when people insult Mick. Not so much for his more recent songwriting abilites (that's understandable), but for not recognizing what I would credit with revolutionizing the front man's role in a band. Up there with Elvis, Jagger took center stage and made the front man a vital position over just vocals. Stage presence. Maybe I'm just over emphasizing his importance...feh. |
